Beyoncé - RENAISSANCE Alternative Cover Limited Edition Double Vinyl
Details
Renaissance is the seventh studio album from global icon, Beyoncé. Packed with rousing anthems, Renaissance is a culmination of freedom and escape that encourages unimaginable jubilation, agency, and movement with abandon. The singular intent of Renaissance is to showcase music that stirs you from the soul. It is a celebration of a club era when anyone who felt like an outsider sought each other and formed a community of freedom-seekers to express themselves creatively through the rhythm, which we still celebrate today. Beyoncé wrote and produced the album with Nova Wav, The-Dream, Symbolyc One, A. G. Cook, Honey Dijon, Beam, Tricky Stewart, BloodPop, Skrillex, Hit-Boy, No I.D., P2J and various others. Beam, Grace Jones and Tems appear as guest vocalists. This limited edition album includes alternative cover artwork, full-color, custom inner sleeves, original lyrics to track C4 "Heated" and interpolation of "Milkshake" by Kelis, found in track B2 "Energy."
Editors' Note
Above her strides as a multi-hyphenate star, few modern pop artists have worked as hard to put the culture and concerns of Black America in front of a broader audience as Beyoncé Knowles. Whether surveying civil rights (“Formation”), Black feminism (“***Flawless,” “Irreplaceable”), the collective pride of HBCU culture (HOMECOMING), Black LGBTQIA+ liberations of disco and house music (RENAISSANCE), or the reclamation of country music’s roots (COWBOY CARTER), Beyoncé’s work positions her as a first-rate musician and cultural archivist, one who knows the responsibility of uplifting the past while sowing seeds for the future.
