Self-taught artist Gregory Prescott creates stunning imagery of the nude human body, skillfully using the space in each of his photos to communicate effectively with his subjects. In his artist statement, Prescott explains: "I use my camera like a paintbrush, to create beautiful images of the male and female form... In my photographs, one may witness the essence, sensuality, strong structure, and power of the body with the use of passion but without excessive sexuality." Inspired by live figures, Prescott captures the graceful curves of a woman's figure and the sturdy strength of a man's. He seeks moments where the energy and movement in his shoots are at their most emotionally appealing, and he creatively captures these moments with his lens.
