Meryanne Loum-Martin, owner of the award-winning Jnane Tamsna boutique hotel in Marrakesh's Palmeraie district, is a writer and designer renowned for her perseverance and patience in creating lush, well-arranged interior and exterior atmospheres, aided by her botanist husband. A self-taught architect and interior designer, she shared in a Quintessence interview, “My design philosophy is a reflection of who I am. I have traveled the world very young and also alone because I love traveling alone, discovering things at my own pace.” Her inspiration comes from the people she has met and the many extraordinary homes she has visited around the globe.
